I challenged myself to use brighter colours, and try to recreate that strong, warm light of daybreak in summer. Not sure I either succeeded or really like the end result but I had a lot of fun doing this little picture.
(Also - I think I needed to celebrate the arrival of sunlight. We've been waiting for summer for AGES here in the UK!)

Well since my english is not the best I'll try to make a review of this art.
I think the composition is good, how to handle the space is important and the artist must know when end the work and it needs confidence to make leave big empty spaces. It's an equilibrate work.
The detail in the hair and branches is fantastic and again there's a vision of make some areas very worked and some areas near's a sketched. I loved the trace of the neck very long and stylish.
There are two things where I've got doubt about the resolution, the shadow in the neck and shoulders, I don't know where came from this shadow; and the eye area, the eyelash are some kind of weird and the eyebrow don't follow the natural curve but this is can be covered by stylish of the artist, this is not a hyper realistic work so it's not bad.
I loved the light that goes from the chin trough the neck it makes a soft fusion with the background.
In general is a pretty nice job, congratulations.
